You can sign in to your account and then click the Orders tab to view new requests. Requests that are awaiting quotes are under Requests for Quotes. Click on the request you are responding to. You can post a message to acknowledge the requester or ask for more information. You can also create a quote to issue a formal quotation. Or, decline the request. Declining a request will not negatively impact your search rankings. Do your best to respond within 2 business days - we have found responsive service providers earn more orders.
Alternatively, you will receive an email notification when there is a new quote request or message, and you can reply from that email, which will copy your message to the Order # page.
It is important to keep written communication on the platform. In the rare case of a dispute, the messages become an audit trail. That being said, we absolutely encourage phone calls! We simply ask you to provide a brief summary of what you covered in the conversation on the order page.
